The cables for the Ebrakes should be here Saturday.

All of what is left for the Winch wiring will be here tomorrow.

The M10 10.9 bolts I ordered to replace the Drotor bolts will be here Friday.

Looks like rain is going to take over the forecast next week. I gave a clear day on Sunday. Gotta get as much done as possible.

If anyone local wants to help. I'd appreciate it.

Running out of time for Hammers.

    LOL... you have now.

Put 50 pounds of torque on one of them and it twisted in half.

Max torque for a 8.8 M10 should be 57.3 pounds.

If one of them twisted like that. They are all stretched to the point I don't trust them.

Didn't like the bolts that came with it. Went with 12.9 Allen head socket caps with matching flange nuts on the opposite side. Way over kill but piece of mind.

Rained today. Got a little bit done on the truck before it started...

But at least I made some progress.

Big thanks to @Blue Canary and @essjay

We got a lot of stuff done today. Here's where the list is now. (FedEx failed us, the 3rd member didn't arrive, but lots of other stuff got completed)

    Need to
    - Install 3rd member
    - Install axles
    - I think I'm going to pull the 5th leaf out of the pack
which means I have to figure out how to press the
bracket out of the 5th leaf and put it in the 4th leaf
DONE (we just pulled he 4th leaf)
    - Properly pack and set preload on rear hubs DONE
    - Install Emergency brake shoes DONE
    - Install rear brake calipers DONE
    - Bleed entire brake system (Will need to bleed again)
    - Figure out how to run Emergency brake line to the brakes (Ran the cables from the rear brakes up towards the front, will need to order a splitter and figure out how to finish them)
    - Make mounting plate for winch disconnect,
and 2 unrelated breakers, at the Aux battery
    DONE
    - Wire rear winch DONE
    - Spool rear winch DONE
    - Install new Catalytic converter
    - Re-route exhaust around traction bar front mount
    - Undercoat front wheel wells DONE
    - Bleed coilovers (oil) DONE
    - Re-install coilovers DONE
    - Replace back lower control arm nuts/bolts (too long, ripping rack bellows) DONE
    - Replace rack bellows
    - At this point, pour stop leak in rack (battle for another day)

    - Would like to also re-build the tailgate/swing out/ tire carrier,
but don't know if I'll have time.

    Also neeed to add:
    - Safety wire leaf spring bolts (drilled the heads for the safety wire and installed the bolts)
    - Adjust travel on rear bumpstops
    - Re-install and re-fill rear bumpstops
    - Re-fill front bumpstops

    Good stuff!

Couldn't make it out today; wife finally gets back to work tomorrow.

If we're redoing your rear swing out, remember I can cut out with a much larger envelope.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

The 2 axles, total, together, were $725 (that's out the door. Including taxes and shipping).

The material was their "HyTuf" which was explained to me to be somewhere in between 4340 and the 300M

"HyTuf" is their through hardened 4340.

I also had them torsion turned where the center of the splines are lined up on both ends. Supposedly it will give the axle more twist before yeild.

That's not bad... @JTFisherman this might be a solution for the intermediate shaft we've been discussing.

When I first put the case in I talked to RCV about making one. They are capable and willing but need the intermediate shaft sent to them to tool it up. Since I never broke the original in 5 years of wheeling it I never needed to go further. lol
