I love my Webers, not quite even sure how many I have now but gave a couple of 22" kettles away last year. That one in the link will never grace my deck however.

Weber has been struggling the last couple of years. My Genesis gasser is only 6 years old and stripped down to parade rest on the deck right now. Firebox burnt through. They replaced it free but then bird hunting season came...

As you know, I'm more of a caveman when it comes to meat smoke and fire. I have warmed up to the remote temperature probes, possibly even Bluetooth (of which I don't own either). But I think the simplicity and quality that Weber built their name on has been traded for gadgets and sub-par expensive junk.

Mine won't go out on the deck in the rain. I have to take her to the covered porch.

Son has a Ram and when his is in his garage, that's about as much room as he has.... 2 tennis balls - one for the windshield and one for the front tell them when it's time to stop.

    Pretty

 evening /morning all. Rained most of the day and was windy. I'll see how much rain and how many branches are down. I saw several earlier - will see the total in the morning. Be safe out there.

Morning everyone :hattip:, it was raining and snowing when I went to bed. It looks like about an inch or so, temperature dropped from 33* to 32* , it’s been an odd year. I haven’t used the snowblower since the Halloween dump. Be safe and smart, lift with your legs.

Good morning. Rain finally stopped. The wind has calmed down a little but it's still gusting in the 30s. It rained all day yesterday. We got about an inch. Still, it's been a mild winter so far. No walk for the dog yesterday so I have to get her out early today to do her business.

Hey all, 52 and counting, first post to this thread, I guess i was in denial until now. Is it just me or does the cold weather, and cold bones just take all your energy away? I want to get stuff done on the Taco, but find myself using extra zip ties and electrical tape this time of year instead of doing it right with solder, heatshrink and the correct wire anchors? LOL! That and i must be getting old.....bitching about the weather here in Western Michigan while stopping to take a picture of the snow in the tree's......
    Drive safe all.
