A little of this and a little of that.
    :hattip:Good morning everyone

Had over 3 and a half inches of rain yesterday. Everything is soggy. Lots of local flooding but no damages to my properties.

Wednesday is a normal meet up at the gun club and shoot Trap day for a bunch of us members. Today is too cool and windy, so it’ll be a meet up and decide where to go to lunch.

    Enjoy your day. Stay safe.

Good morning :pccoffee: Only about 4" of snow here yesterday and last night. And an inch or 2 a day for the next 5-6 days. Enough to be a pain, nuisance snow.

Crispi here but only the versions with Ankle Bone Support System

Although do have a couple pairs of Kenetrek Everstep Orthopedic boots for when my ankles get really bad during hunting season. They are the Mountain Extreme with support braces developed for veterans and covered under insurance as Durable Medical Equipment by the VA and some insurance companies

My feet are jacked up enough that if I get up in the middle of the night to pee I do the duck walk to the bathroom and hope I don't fall. Who knew that at 65 getting lucky means you made it through the night without having to get up to pee?!

You are sliding into old man territory just about perfectly  Welcome you found the right place.

Couple of the clubs around here shoot on Wednesday during the day as well. Every once in awhile I will take off work and join them, but you have to light a fire under their butts to go out and shoot a round. Aint none of them in a hurry for anything except to drink coffee and eat doughnuts being retired LOL. Not that I am jealous...

Joined the heated 5 stand league an hour and a half away again this year. This weekend looks like single digit temps with a couple of inches of snow falling and gusts of 40 mph wind. Should make the targets real interesting as well as the drive to and from. Those are the days I wish that they didn't keep score :pout:

Looking to pick up a clay thrower for brothers and brother inlaws to shoot a little more regularly, the cold weather makes it harder because my glasses fog up, but i have a good excuse for shooting holes in the sky.
We have about 2-3 inches on the ground here now, but more coming everyday for a week or more yet.

If the trees were gone, i could see the Tiara building!
If you go back in time about 70 or so years, my grandfather worked for the Slickers, my dad has his wooden toolbox with a few of the tools from working there, including a hand drill with an auger bit.
Crazy they used to drill all the wood holes with a hand drill back then.

Good morning everybody! Not sure how much rain we got yesterday but we should be good for a while. And the wind got the rest of the pecans down for us I could probably pickup a good bushel this morning.

Many years ago got a Do All thrower for the son and I for when the clubs were closed. It was when they first came out and it worked, but they have come a long ways since then. If you do go with a Do All highly recommend the wobble attachment. They do require a 12V battery however IMO would be worth it. Otherwise the targets are on a string and after a box or 2 of shells are just boring. A wobble makes it MUCH more interesting.

If you don't have a dedicated set of shooting glasses now is the time to get them, always glad to help someone spend money  If you need prescription Wayne Morgan at Morgan Optical is one of the best. He sells mainly Ranger but IMO Pilla are a bit over priced and you really don't need 100 different colors at the end of the day. However if someone gave me a pair with some lenses I wouldn't throw them away LOL.

Couple of years ago switched to Ranger RIACT A.I. lenses in the Classic Frame and while I have all 3 normally the Medium get me through 90% of lighting conditions. Ventilation is key to preventing fogging and I've stayed away from the "style" frames like the Ranger Edge. There is always Frog Spit to help prevent fogging. But then again as you said why remove yet another excuse for missing!

Good morning. Received about 2 1/2 inches of rain overnight. Snow is all gone and there’s a little water in the basement at the opposite side from the sump pump. Pump is on for 10 seconds and off for 30 - the water table needs to drop.
