Seems like a nice car, be a real shame of it got accidentally lit on fire.

If the owner has half a brain they'd trade it in on something else. And if the dealer has half a brain they'd immediately wholesale it at the farthest away auction they can and hope that thing is never seen again. It's never going to be right.

 

She has already traded it for a new car. I’m putting it back together for the final time. I think it will be wholesaled. 19,000 miles

Power was on the entire time down here in Brookfield... at least where I am.

Danbury (where the Mrs teaches) schools were closed because of flooding, but Brookfield had school as usual.

 

What do my fellow CT guys use for comms when in a New England group offroad adventure? When I had my old truck our group used CB's, it seems that is old school now.

Anyone here have Frontier Fiber for their internet?

If so, what's your experience with it?

Supposedly it's available in my area, a few peeps in our neighborhood have it and like it. They've switched over from Charter cable, which is what I currently have.

All the snow is gone over here . Did not lose power and surprisingly my basement did not flood

 

We've had it for two years or so along with DirecTV stream. Very pleased with both.

 

Yes, apples and oranges compared to the old crappy copper plant that is rapidly being phased out.
1gig.
Had it 2 years and other than a 6 hr statewide outage a year and a half ago, no issues at all.
With 1 gig, you get 2 Eero wi-fi mesh units.
We run a lot of wi-fi crap here and it always works.
Price is good as well.
Go for it.

Been having some issues with my internet lately while gaming, and not sure if it's my internet, or the game itself.

Seems like ever since we lost internet a few weeks ago in that storm in December, it's been acting "weird".

The Mrs asked on Facebook in the local page for our neighborhood what peeps have, and a lot of them said they had Frontier Fiber and had switched from Charter because of the quality.

While perusing the internet last night, I went on their site and looked at prices. The 1gig is cheaper than what I pay right now for 500 on Charter, twice the speed, so I figured what the heck! As I was clicking through just to see what other fees there were, it said I could have it installed today, this afternoon, so I jumped on it.

Fingers crossed the installation does happen, and fingers crossed it "fixes" my gaming and "weirdness" of late.
