Reverse wire location

2023 trd or 4x4
I'm looking for the location of the reverse wire. I know there's one behind the radio which I might access. I believe it's spot number two on 1 of the plugs I have a picture.. Also I believe there's one under the kickpanel, but it's changed from 2018 to 2023 to a different spot...I probably will just go to behind the radio. Looking for a positive identification so no guess work or diagnosis...If doable I also could go to the tailight

FYI, Toyota reverse wires are Red

 

Get thread shows the radio location, but under the kick panel. Is the wrong location for a twenty three

 

What color are they behind the radio

 

I can try and look it up on Techstream tonight. Should also be red.

Thanks man...still a little difficult to find yes its pin #12 and its red but still a little difficult plus they are tiny wires ...I may just use the taillight reverse wire...see attachment

 

That's the best I can do for location as I don't have a 3rd gen to look at, IA4 likely would be the best spot to tap into though. I wouldn't tap any exterior wiring unless you can seal it up really well.
