Got some more fussy work done today. First ever Jeep part… POS gas door. Helped kids fab steel cover for filler.

    IMG_0899.jpg

also got one of the side doors finished and on. Not sure about them yet-definitely gets a more home built vibe. Oh well, my girls are embarrassed by the changes and say it is very redneck.

Now you just need to wire it up so you have central locking to lock and unlock all your doors with the truck!

sorry I’m late to the party I’ve been stuck plowing the streets of Verona for the past 2 days now. But what I came here to say was, I run the warfab sleeves and yes you definitely want to get and alignment more frequently, and fluid film on them is a tremendous recommendation, also consider packing the sleeve with grease upon install to help chase out salt and water and such that can find its way in and eat everything!

I had far more snow in Arizona a couple days ago than I’ve seen in the rest of my entire trip!

The truck is looking real nice. I can't wait to see it and hear the stories behind every mod.

Drive an hour north and I can. Which I prefer, go visit snow not live in it.

Whatever. Your truck is the truck I pretend mine is after I install my own ball hitch. Yup. Did that myself. Stand back, ladies, this slab of man is spoken for.

Most people only dream of doing the kind of fab work you're doing, and it looks badass.

"it looks so tasty I dream about it in bbq fever every night"

Does the forum have a profanity filter, or is that just CygnusX191 being modest?

If you are asking if "BBQ fever" is profanity then I sure hope not!

Edit: LOL of course this was how I achieved my 3,000th post.

Time for a new steel bumper!!!

This is the first time that I can ever recall feeling happy to see snow. Anything to replace the wet gray and brown I’ve been seeing for the last two months. Lukewarm yuckiness.
