the new Barbie movie is on HBO now and Rebecca and I started it last night...that movie is a trip. It's like the first Matrix movie if the Matrix was about Barbies.

 

there's some arctic jet stream going on from way up north so you're not wrong on that, we are getting it down here too but obviously not as cold as you guys. Just wish we were getting some rain and snow with it too, instead it's just cold and windy as hell

It was crazy pouring all last night.

 

that's probably the storm that's bringing the mountains here a couple inches tonight supposedly, I dunno. Nothing in our forecast though. We have been getting crazy winds the last few days and much colder than normal.

 

Mountains out here got snow; I'm like....do I buy some new tires? My current ones have a shit ton of life so naw.

The rain last night surprised me because it came in all of a sudden with heavy wind.

 

I never got the 4runner aligned like an idiot after I got it and those new tires are worn all wonky now, probably going to have to at least get new ones for the front. Rears are OK.

Finally got it aligned last week and the before specs were sooo fucking bad, I'm surprised it wasn't really obvious in the handling. But it explains the tire wear lol.

At least they were the cheaper Wally World ones

 

Small reason why I don't bother with new tires either is because I'd want to get rid of my lift too for the meanwhile.

But too lazy and I'd rather spend money to make me money so I'll be frugal for now

Just checked the cameras, rain only lasted about an hour so it left as quickly as it came.

No that's no the issue just ensuring that everything is done smoothly and no surprises come up. Getting really close to getting the house on the market. Hopefully all goes well and i hope by April I can be free from any ties to the "old life".

Doesn't the cold air come from the north west so technically it's Alaskan air?

The cold air is arctic air but gets to western wa through BC and the Frasier river valley.

 

Just blew a circuit in the photo studio, weird. Been using this setup for years, each lighting pack specifically plugged into it's own circuit as to not overload anything.

Turns out the model brought in her space heater because it gets cold in here this time of year, those damn things really draw some power.

Was the same circuit my computer is on, just glad I hadn't started doing any editing yet.

 

Average space heater is about 12.5a when running, on a 15a circuit it doesn't take much more to pop

 

Yeah, I think the electrical in this building is pretty old too. You'd think it would be more robust as this photo studio space used to be an enormous server room for Netgear back when one of their HQs was out here. But that was a couple decades ago at least.
