    Butters, You're a good guy...I don't care what that comm puke says (as the Old Guy gets ready to be banned by the Mod).

    Definitely jump all over the opportunity to do that...having a mental picture from the guys at tech school (instructors and trainees) will make putting up with the BS at basic easier to take. May have changed a lot since 1983...but my gut tells me it's still a lot of head games...the right mindset will win every time.

    can not have more then a 1/4 of showing skin be tattooed.. so you cant have a sleeve..

    ok wasnt planning on a sleeve....yet lol. my recruiter has tats on his forearm showin when he wears his dress blues, so i guess that kinda of threw me off

    you can get a waiver for just about anything... plus he prob had those when the reg's were much less strict. there was a cross training SSGT in a few indoc classes after mine. he had full sleeves on both arms. just to make life suck for him more he always had to wear long sleeve shirts, always... during summer in TX.

    how did BMT suck? when i did it 3 years ago it was easy as hell.. I also had some really stupid people in my flight..

    and for the most part you just going to be a fedex man for ammo...
