I think there’s only like 1/2 inch or so of preload on there. Doesn’t leave a lot of room for adjustments.

I ordered the 2.5 coilovers and 12'' smoothies during their black friday sale last year, and they've done great. I planned on doing a warfab bumper/winch so I got the 650 springs, but I stayed stock in the front so it rides pretty firm. My fault lol. I also set the preload to an extra inch of lift which gives me nasty cv angles without a diff drop. I'm gonna change to 600 springs and stock preload soon so that should solve my issues. The compression adjusters are great and the smoothies with my archive relocate are amazing. Customer service is great too. Takes them 5 mins to get back to me on instagram after 6 pm MST even when they're in Florida. For the price compared to fox/king/ads/radflo etc. they are amazing. Highly recommend

These look far more like attempts to imitate the king adjuster. The locked adjuster is far different.

I really don’t care either way, don’t care to run these shocks but maybe I’m blind. And even if they are made overseas or utilize components made overseas, that doesn’t mean people won’t enjoy them, to each their own:

They're running a 20% off special right now. Might pull the trigger on these based on these comments. Looking for 2.5" x 8" for my +2LT setup.

Interesting, there's a set of unused 12" smoothies with reservoirs on FB market and they caught my eye... maybe I'll pick em up and dissect them see what kinda shims and piston design we are working with here.

Has anyone seen a report on how these perform compared to Kings?

Or just how they feel to really any 2.5 shocks on the market now.

Shocks are too much of an individual preference to even compare. These trucks vary as much as 1000lbs per truck depending on armor and gear, some people jack the pre load way up, some run them nearly stock height.

I'll tell you what, you can't get the best of both worlds on a mid travel truck. It's either going to ride soft and plush-ish on-road, or ride plush off-road, but unless you have a lot more travel to deal with you won't really turn your Tacoma into a Raptor.

Ok perhaps, I'm just looking for some general feedback on folk's impressions on ride quality. Good, bad, any feedback is valuable to understand if this is a valid option in the aftermarket suspension market.

Is locked off-road shocks soft or hard? Would it best compare to kings? Fox? Bilstein? Just want to get an idea of what the ride qaulity will be like…

Depends on what batch you get honestly. Some say they are stiff, some say soft. Mine are very stiff and valving is horrible.
