Yeah looks good, alot of bumpers for those either look bulbous or they are way too offroady for a 3/4 ton or 1 ton.

That doesnt look rolled to me, I have a 1.75" with a 7" CLR.

Yeah, most are just massive. I was trying to find one of those are transformer mounts, and work off of that, but, to make it look decent and thought out with the valance above the bumper, it would need a rolled/bent top bar like that. Plus, for under side, I'd need to bend up some tube to guard the IC and radiator.
If I keep this, it'll probably get out of hand, expensive... and become useless as a 1ton...
Kinda hoping I get a cash or trade offer I can live with first though...

I could see that being the case..or maybe Bill wants to go rebuild a team that sucks like his mentor Tuna would do. Should be interesting.

Lol, at the rate I have time to build stuff, I can't afford to have it down...

Besides that, once I swap the springs out, and button up the bumper install, Tacoma is done other next rolling stock.. it's just too soft for all the weight I've added.

Have a bike, I tore down 2 winters ago, and haven't done anything with it since... need another building.. but..
I keep looking for another Jeep, or old Toyota truck, 4runner, maybe a Hardbody, etc... but, again.. see above.

Problem with keeping the stupid duty, won't fit through the garage down south, to get into the shop.. so...

Well you know the best way to add some life to an old sandwich....
    MAYO

Yeah...cuz the guy who learned from the guy is always better than the guy...
This Jerrod Mayo talk can only be that he's a 1 year placeholder to take the flack until they find a permanent coach...
Like when David Lee Roth took over for Howard Stern on terrestrial radio...they knew he had no chance.

I'd see it as that, like the Cam Newton year was to me.

Vrabel if I could pick of what's out there now.

Ok, let's really look at it this way.......what is his overall winning record without Brady...... was it really Brady that made him look good? He was always the "dark silent mysterious " type that made him look like a genius......but without Brady......he now just seems like just an asshole personality......and keep in mind, yes, I am not a Pat's fan so this is just a view from the cheap seats for what it's worth....

    Nope...
Don't want the guy who learned enough from the guy to leave and get a job he lost for not being as good as the guy...
It's going to have to be a CRAZY recalibration...

I don't know what people this is going to be better than what Bill B brings...Imagine this season without bill scheming the Defense...We were 7th on D....
Without the D we were 0fer

That is the problem in a nutshell. We can only see what happened in this reality. If there were multiple realities we could try out different scenarios and see which one works the best. It was never JUST Brady but it sure seems like it was more Brady than Bill. Brady went to another team that just really needed a good quarterback to win and won a superbowl. I could see Bill going to another team that just needs a good coach and then he does the same thing. But no matter where he goes no team has Brady as their quarterback.

I get that. That’s the #1 reason why I am saving up for a commuter. The amount of times this bumper came on and off and replaced with the stock one was disgusting. At least I made it easy.

Welp this heater is worthless its going back, 1500W isnt enough to even feel it 6-8 ft away at my workbench.

My 6000w unit isn't even fantastic.

It takes a lot of electricity to make decent heat.

Yeah I had pretty low expectations. Was really just looking for something that would be warm where I typically am.

Gotta try something else. Probably LP radiant

I’d look for a cheap wood stove. As mentioned you’ll go broke using electric heat

I have one but not installed.... Its against fire code in the US and my home insurance wont allow one. In a few years I'll probably say F it and put one in anyways.

^^^ I was going to say that. What does it need to get up to code? Probably chimney stuff, which can be done pretty cheap. Next time you do a weld day, just get 4 of us to wrangle the thing where you want it to go, I'd ballpark a chimney is a couple hundred to have someone install, maybe up to a grand. If you're dropping a liner in a pre-existing chimney, probably closer to 3-500? Takes a bit to get the heat flowing, to be fair, so you'd have to start the burn ahead of you being out there, not as easy as a flick of a switch. But hey, free wood would mean free heat :)

I have looked at some shenanigans level stuff for being able to be good "off grid" if the power goes out, one thing was looking at how forced hot water can work with the wood stove. It's doable, but really doesn't "blend in" with a house in RI, especially since the longest we've lost power at my house is a couple hours. We're on the same section as a hospital, even though it's a tiny one, so we're pretty good. Might get a generator as a backup this summer though.

    https://salamanderstoves.com/hot-water-from-your-tiny-wood-stove/

PS to the electricians in the thread who were pitching in on the family who has the 800kWh shenanigans, "The December bill was spicy, so we're hiring an electrician". I've asked to be kept in the loop, because now I am curious too.
