I hadn’t even checked the price on it. I assumed since it was more of Amazon tool/brand it would be “cheap” but I guess not

 

yeah spendy. But it also seems like it would do my wifes Honda which is due for bearings pretty soon. So if I got it I could do 7 bearings with it seemingly easier than using a press itself. So might be worth it..

 

The mechanics I know use a tool like that, saves them a lot of hours in removal of spindles (can do the work on the car usually after popping the CV out) and wasted time rigging shit in a vertical press.

 

exactly what I'm realizing. Painful. But probably one of those tools I'd use forever maybe. I guess it depends on what cars/trucks I end up with in the furture And who the hell knows what that'll be like between cost of vehicles and changing drive trains.

 

You buy it and we all will rent it from you if I we need it. Deal? Deal.

What's folks schedule the last week of March? Looking to do a trip then.

 

Spring break, I've got contractors to manage at work so I'm out.

Yeah that's pretty nice. I loved 4 day work weeks.

TBD. But Devin and dogs are coming so gotta be dog friendly and warm for Devin. So Utah? Az?NM? Idk yet. Devin just wants warmer place. By then she'll be super sick of winter.

Yeah it's getting super cold here too. Not quite test the limits of antifreeze like you but we're hitting negative 15 overnight and tomorrow is supposed to be a high of 1°

 

yeah -7 here right now. Gonna be brutal. But only for a couple days. Least its not weeks.

hopefully my antifreeze does it's thing. I've had it plug up before.

 

Negative 35 is the limit for 50/50 mix. So I think you'll probably be fine

 

yeah hopefully. With windchill who knows how cold it'll get. The "real feel" is -22 already haha

 

Well the good news is only humans feel wind chill. Inanimate objects just care what the temperature is. Any idea where this weather cell is coming from even Western Washington got a little snow today
