Tornado sirens are going off and it's supposed to get very cold tonight and snow tomorrow. My new neighbors are loud. The kids are under the carport screaming. We don't need a snow tornado.

I can't imagine spending $90k on a used performance car like that without any kind of added protection. At least a thorough pre-purchase inspection through BMW or something.

@Speedytech7 @JKO1998 Do you guys put any kind of a filter sock or cover on your snorkels for heavy snowfall? I had no issues driving with my uncovered snorkel during the blizzard from two years ago.

Asking for a friend who came to me for advice.

 

I don't have a snorkel, but for the most part I've only ever seen people turn them around for a blizzard condition.

 

I turned mine around when I had it, I don't recall ever having an issue

 

I never bothered with that on my truck. The filter in the air box will be enough for 99% of snow conditions.

 

Oh sweet they dropped the new Ford air freshener

 

got my first whiff of a burnt up alternator last night when it chucked its soul to Toyota heaven on my way home from work, on the 4runner. Lost power steering too so that was fun lol.

for what it's worth, ARB only mentions recommending to turn it around in heavy snow/blizzard conditions so it doesn't build up on the face and block airflow. That's the only time I'd do it, but around here snorkel bros freak out when it starts to rain and turn it around.
