Meh. I don't know how long you ran yours but a $50 UCA refresh is pretty great. Were yours damaged?

How are yall getting reimbursed? I emailed and got no reply. I ended up installing myself and paying for an alignment

Pretty sure you have to have a certified place do it.

Yeah, the instructions said that but didn't say how to get reimbursed. I couldn't get anyone to answer my emails so I did it myself. I was hoping to get the alignment covered

I stopped by today and the garage said they dont use customer supplied parts. I called two days ago and asked and it wasnt an issue. So glad I rearranged my schedule for this. I'm just going to swap them myself. Ill bring it to them for the aligment. I swapped in the whole suspension so it will be easy to do. Otherwise the nearest 4x4 shop is 45 minutes away and I dont have time to dick around getting a ride to and from that place.

I installed the suspension I think 2 years ago. Time is a weird thing man

Yeah that sounds like a pain. I took a half day off from work and sat at the shop. It's just one of those life things that happens and you figure out how to make it work best for you. I was one of the first to get the Ironman and I can't say anything but positive about it. The half day for me was worth it for new UCA's. Good luck bro!

I have Monday off and am already swapping out my damaged driver side door. If I have time the UCA's will probably be quick.

Any of you guys having some serious squeaking coming from the rear leaf bushings or leaf's themselves on this kit? I have the medium load leafs and the bushings are horrendously loud.

Occasionally, but I spray the leaves and inbetween with woolwax or spray silicon and if usually fixes it. I think it’s the driver side front leaf “saddle” that I concentrate on. That stops it till a good wet drive.

I'll try this, It's pretty bad but I just looked and its definitely coming from the bushings, drivers side is worse as you say. Every day is a good wet drive up here in Washington lol

That’s no fun then. Might have to try and pull them to regrease them. I used the red n tacky grease on them and don’t think they’ve ever squaeaked. Not sure you could get any spray in there without poping them out.

Yes, mine were horrible. Ironman actually sent me a complete new set of rear leafs and bushings under warranty which seemed to fix the problem.

The recall stated a shop had to install the UCAs but no shop I talked to would use customer supplied parts, unless I drove an hour or more to a custom 4x4 shop and would have to wait forever for them to do the work. I spent the hour and swapped them out and got an alignment. I submitted the charge for the alignment but have yet to see a check

I need to lube my leafs, they squeak a little bit. But my truck is truck, its going to make truck noises.

Ironman reimbursed you for the alignment? Did you just send them the invoice via email?

It was the friction pads between leafs making all the noise, not the bushings. Spread them and added a rubber pad and all good!
