You were right. Mayo is the chosen one. I thought it would be Vrabel.

Oh I just meant in general, I know you kipped up in the bed for AOAA and NMW. Tents are fine, plus then you don't have to empty everything out of the bed for the night :D

I'm going to have my roof tent this year, I'll have my hammock at NMW but probably more for chillin' in rather than sleeping for the night. The hammock is sweet though, tie off the truck and some other point, doesn't need to be level. If you tie it off to the truck using a caribbeaner or something, you can leave it 99% set up and drive away.

Get an underquilt though, if you do one. I have a cheap Amazon setup to try it out, it's #3 (or 2) on my list for preference (Platform, RTT/hammock tied, hammock only fits me, RTT can fit 2 + dog). It is nice to have all that cab space back though, when you don't sleep in the cab :D

(PS that's a site in the NMW we are hoping to snag for the week this year!)

    Depends on usage.

Heat pump can put a hurting on an electric bill as well... and depending how it's all set up, can draw the usage of that HW heater.

Pellet stove, coal, wood. Though, a Pellet stove can be configured for Direct Vent, it still doesn't immediately drop combustion like oil or gas does in the event of... an issue.

Honestly, if your building isn't attached, I'd get a direct vent Empire, with a fan option.
Thermopile, so no power needed. No air with the space. Fan helps. A lot.

Can be found cheap to free used.
I have one in my basement for whatever the next building is(hoping for 12x24 minimum).

I have a blue flame in the shed now, and get crazy condensation issues on the metal surfaces.

    Sweet, congrats !

    Francis.

Ross is nice but the actual site itself is further from the water, so it's not as friendly for a large group camping "on the water". Spider is TBD, I think it's a little small, but it's kind of an inbetween of "on the water" of Ross and Francis. Closer, but still not as good as Francis.

My brother is convinced his ranger is worth nothing to sell so that may turn into a stupid woods rig if I have any say about it.

Nice! Looks like next weekend will be much better than this one for a road trip too!

Not on that particular truck but I do have multiple f250 towers on the shelf. Used them front and rear on my first gen. They are the shit!

Sweet, did you fit fox 2.5"s in the BAMF relocation? Thats one hell of a truck.

Would be the first one in this group that is locked front and rear plus beadlocks.
