You got more than I did in Zephyr, about 4 inches at lake level.

Got to the shop with 6-8" depending on where I measure. And no parking lot plowing done.... Isn't this why I pay hundreds of dollars of monthly CAM fees with our commercial space :annoyed: Forklifts don't work very good in snowy parking lots

When I worked at a grocery store long ago we’d take the forklift with a pallet on the forks and use it as a ghetto plow. Usually worked ok. Until one of the guys drove it down the receiving dock and couldn’t drive it back out.

I've done that in the past actually, but it almost always seemed to be going well right up until it wasnt and the forlift spun 1 tire helplessly and needed one of the welders to come out and give it a good push/rocked it til it grabbed. Don't have any big guys around the shop to help like that right now so the forlift sits and the parking lot has snow. lol. I did shovel the 10ft behind our unit in case a plow happens to come later, they can push away what I shoveled.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
7.5" at 5k ft in SW part of town. Yeah, I'm sorta "Hill People" and dammit I like it that way (except for a short stint in college, I realized I have always lived in the hills - it explains so much. Now pass me the 'shine).

1 kid got snow day, 1 kid got remote learnin'. Driveway has been shoveled, my arms are noodles, my back is killing me, I'm working remote, and I have 'sweetened' my coffee. :D

I convinced my neighbor to buy a snow blower last year. Best decision I made for him (and me)

4x4 would be cool. Forklifts are so rear weight biased that the front tires loose traction on anything but solid/dry pavement

Oh that’s just a joke. It looks like my garage but was just a funny. We ended up with about 8” from the last storm.

    Well you had me.
I left Sparks in 83. That winter 82/83 Tahoe got 12 ft in 10 hours.
    So, it was believable.

When Grove Valve and Regulator closed, one of the cnc vertical lathes (G&L VTL?) were sold. A forklift was moving it. It slowly tipped forward and put the as$ of the forklift up in the air. One by one people got onto the back of the forklift, and slowly balanced it.
Then they lowered the lathe and had a bigger forklift come in.

If it's a solid pneumatic, you can get chains for them. Helps a little bit. Can't do it on the cushion tires, the wheel wells are too low

Snow removal in this area has been horrendous this year. Not sure what is going on with NDOT and the city. I was just looking at traffic cams. Over Donner Pass 80 is dry with not a spot of snow. 80/395 through town it’s like a 2 track ice rink.

Harry came to my house a few years ago to buy a 1st gen taco frame. Super cool guy, wish I didn't have to work.
