Depending if I go back to running 2 different vehicles. I like some luxury, so if I had something along the lines of an ATS-V or SS I would be okay going SR5 but don't think I'd go down to the detuned SR.

Yeah thought that ended in 2015. Thanks guys. Was long gone by the time I bought my ‘21. My cheap ass wanted the 4 cylinder utility trim, but my wife talked me into the V6, since I tend to load the crap out my truck when traveling. Glad she did. Really wanted the rear seat delete, since I have no use for them, do not like paying for stuff I don’t use. Not available with the V6 though.

I can afford more than a SR, but choose not to. Just because you can afford things doesn’t mean you have to buy them. Would buy another SR, but they killed the ACLB. We do the same with the houses can afford much more, but rather invest money elsewhere. Have been like that ever since I can remember. Grew up in a family owned business, and self employed now. Always looking at the bottom line, why I compare products to no end, it is like a game to me.

My financial advisor drives a 20 year old Camry, who is quite wealthy. Vehicles are one of the worst purchases one can make, you are guaranteed to loose money. Rather have money in the bank than trying to look cool.

You definitely should not buy a $50k+ fourth gen.

I don’t think anyone told you that you should

Think how much more money you'd save by not paying your financial advisor and doing it yourself! Pft!

A financial advisor cares about making one person and one person only rich and that person ain't you.

I could have more money in the bank if I didn’t own my camper, dirt bikes, and race car. But…why? I’d rather have fun than stare at a number

Houses can be a great investment but it depends on what you buy and where, and your assets aren't very liquid. Vehicles are almost never good investments but there exceptions. None of the vehicles we are talking about fall into that category. But you invest money elsewhere for what? To buy more/nicer things later? To leave a legacy inheritance? If you have to borrow to get what you want that's one thing but some of us also invested for a long time and can now afford nicer things. I'm not going to be buried with my investments.

I don’t think it would show as a separate option on the upgrade package, rather it is just a higher level of upgrade package.

I’m only basing that off how the configurator lets you pick things.

It is in the VIN. It looks like it is the 5th position. E is manual and B is auto.

It's impressive how many leftover 2023s aren't listed with discounts.

How are any of these trucks sold if the EPA hasn’t listed mpgs yet?
