No sorry I did not do gloss because after a month of being on the truck it looked like he'll so I changed to satin and it held up way better its a good compromise between gloss and flat, but i get what your saying

well i just installed one on a 2011 grill:eek: it was not fun!!! I had to make special brackets for the top bolts because after cutting the hex out there was not enough plastic left for the mount, I also had to bend the lower tabs a bit different, It fit and looks cool with the hex 2011 triangles but it was too much work and cutting, I would not recommend doing this!!! Just buy 2005-2010 grill.

You can see i cut almost all the plastic out i left about 1/8 inch all around it looks better then leaving the plastic there

Tim , do you just cut the triangles out of the OEM grille from behind to mount your mesh ?

I have never cut them out i dont make mesh for the triangles yet but I plan to after seeing how nice it looked on the 11 grill. The grill in the picture is a 2011 they come with the hex mesh on the triangles.

I see that now . I think it would be a nice addition to have your mesh there for the 05-10 crowd .

    Looks great as usual .

That new design looks awesome! Gonna have to wait until September for my 30th birthday though. Wife says I'm spending too much money on truck (which I really am).

    Yes,

On other pics in the thread the grille insert does not have the bolts. I am assuming that the insert with the bolts is for the 2011 Tacoma.
