96-04 Elite Off-Road Rear Plate bumper

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    I towed a 12'x6' Uhaul trailer last weekend fully loaded for about 100 miles with no issues other then then it sitting a little high in the front It was about 4000lbs.

    It's zip tied to the mounting plate I didn't have bolts for the plate yet so i just zip tied it so i could drive the truck.

    Looks like the license plate doesnt actually fit inside the "cut out", like if you were to rest the bottom of the license plate on the bottom lip it would stick up above the bumper and interfere with the tailgate opening?

    If you look at the pics of this bumper mounted on Tim's truck in post #1 of this thread, you'll see that the plate actually does fit correctly.

    Fabtech 4 inch lift, tinted windows, diff drop, 33 inch MTZ tires on Raceline Raptor wheels, ELITE OFF-ROAD bumpers and sliders
    with out the receiver it will fit in the slot just like my bumper. if you have a receiver it will come with a mount that slips in the receiver and the license plate will be angled from the bottom lip of the bumper to the top. i'll get photo's up of it soon. it will look like Jlees above except the plate will be mounted up higher so the top edge of the plate is at the top edge of the bumper

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
    Yeah I tried to mount it with the top edge of the bumper but the angle of the tubing wouldn't let me. The plate is hitting the top of the bumper it was like 11:00pm when I mounted the plate and I didn't want to wake everyone up cutting so I mounted it as it. I might go back and cut it off and reweld it so that it sits right up on the bumper.
