YotaShop says specifically when they're selling you an OEM part. If it doesn't say it's OEM it's one of the aftermarket ones they've taken to selling.

Well it’s priced like an OEM one. Usually the aftermarket ones are like half the price.

I thought they had a good reputation, so I doubted they would sell some junk part.

    Like Zane said, nope

Unless you're signed to a specific franchise, I can't see a shop staying afloat only selling OEM parts

They'd have to sell aftermarket and more

Why not just buy an OEM one?

It's not priced like an OEM because that's not OEM pricing currently...you're comparing it to OEM pricing before it increased.

Remember? You posted about the price increase on OEM yourself lol your words are selectively chosen to show a larger dissatisfaction than what it really is.

Rip the band aid off already and buy OEM before they increase again

Olathe Toyota seems to have the best prices nowadays. They’re only like 3 hours from me too.

You're waiting for them to get cheaper they're not going to and we're past the season where there's all sorts of sales and shit

Am I the only one that thinks smoking stuff doesn't actually make it taste better. I think people who can't cook get really into smoking because it makes their shitty prep work and lack of ability to tolerate spice slightly less torturous for the people around them who aren't completely inept

Has anybody dealt with this Joe Joe character? I ordered some parts from him and got really good service, but apparently there’s been some drama with him lately on the 3rd gen 4Runner FB page, @eon_blue do you know anything about that?

that dude got the biggest 3rd gen 4runner group on FB deleted because people on there were voicing their bad experiences buying from him lol. It was a shit show

He apparently works for Toyota somewhere, and gets discounts. I don't doubt that. But he only accepts friends/family PayPal so if things go south for whatever reason you really have no recourse. I would rather just pay a few bucks more for the peace of mind.

that's cheaper than I got mine from McGeorge 3-4 years ago. I doubt you'll find a better deal on one from a legit source

So buy from them again if you like him. There's risk with it but clearly there's reward too. It's all about how much that risk is worth to you

yeah I don't think he's a scammer or anything like some people were claiming. But I don't like the idea that if the order goes sideways for whatever reason, he holds all the power in keeping your money. There have been enough instances of that happening that were voiced online that I just wouldn't risk it to save a small percentage.
