I’ve always wanted to do this but it just never panned out. :annoyed:
Few years back I had a line on a complete setup sans electronics. Then Covid came & nobody would sell me a Toyota computer chip so eventually I just gave up. :frusty:

They still pop up from time to time. I found the holy grail when I sourced mine used years ago (~10 years). All the needed little components and fit kit parts, etc were all sourced and ready for the install with the kit.. the guy just never installed it.

I bought the truck new in 2013 and planned on the s/c from the get go. Ordered it a few weeks after I bought the truck. It’s actually the TRD stamped one, which is cool. I even installed it myself, the only thing I needed the dealer for was the ecu reflash.

Finished this one up for the sales department to put on display. Plow, full cab with hard doors, engine heater, and cab heater.

Now if we ever got enough snow to justify it.. haha

Maybe you should have put a sweeper on the front instead of a plow.

We're supposed to get around a foot in the next 12 hours with 40-50 mph wind. Could put a kink in the coyote hunting. I'll be thinking of this unit while I blow snow with my open cab tractor tomorrow. :annoyed:

A rig like that could almost make plowing snow fun.

Unrelated -- it was 45 degrees here today! :):)

My next mod needs to be a clutch. The TO bearing squeals when it’s very cold out, and it’s started slipping again, so it’ll probably be a summer project.

Anyone in here do any trapping? I just bought 3 traps and would like recommendations for trap dip, not too worried about waxing them.

Don't know anything about it but it seems interesting.

This is almost exactly 200 yards from my back porch. It's where I dump the deer carcasses we processed this year. These guys are never around in the day time. Traps would be a potential solution. :D
