Looks like it is impossible to buy a 4wd access cab with a six foot bed or am I just not able to wade through the various models. If you are getting a double cab with a six foot bed you've got something the size of a full size pickup. Looks like Toyota is giving most of the working model to the big trucks.

A DCLB is 7” shorter than a Tundra CrewMax 5’ bed. 19” shorter than the 6’ bed. So still quite smaller apples to almost apples.

What about DCLB Tacoma compared to DCSB tundra considering those cabs are way more comparable

Hard to believe that the Tacoma has more rear legroom than the double-cab/6.5 ft bed Tundra even though its seven inches shorter overall. Even though the Tundra might be the better buy in 2024, I'd have a hard time converting over to one from my cozy Tacoma.

Colorado sales down 40% in Q4, Tacoma sales down only 10%, Ranger sales down 92%!

Tacoma pricing was out for Q4 so even with the price increase over the competition, buyers didn’t go for Chevy or Ford? The union strike likely had an impact on Chevy but not Ford.

If the Colorado is the better deal, why don’t the sales reflect it?

If they're not built, they can't be sold. Ford hasn't started selling the new ranger yet, and the Colorado lots were empty through Q4.

When I was looking at Colorado's, the lots were getting thin on 2023's, and the 2024's aren't there yet. That continues to January 2024. Not much available. Impossible to say, but I believe they'd sell more if they had them to sell. Ditto for the GMC Canyon. It's not unusual to look at an online Chevy dealers website and see 0 Colorado avaiable. Plenty of Silverado's, some with good discounts.

Yup. If you watch the Colorado boards, many owners who put down deposits for a '23 early in the year had their orders cancelled. Chevy had an awful launch at the beginning of the year with a delay in EPA approval, and then trucks built and in storage awaiting the EPA approval were hit with a hail storm, and then just as production really started to ramp up, the strike hit.

As for Ford, I should clarify. They were trying to sell the 2024 in Q4, but I think they only produced something like a thousand units. Maybe even less. There were articles out about it, and they mentioned supply chain.
