Definitely the cold. It was a clean helmet-to-helmet contact that just shattered it. I’m just glad they didn’t over react and throw him into the tent. It wasn’t a gruesome looking hit other then the helmet piece flying off.

 

Love the way he got the special treatment of the ref’s stopping the game while he got setup with a new helmet.

 

NFL really pissed me off. I recorded the replay on NFL network listed in the fios guide as “dolphins at chiefs” & when I went to watch, it was the Cleveland/ Houston game. I guess I didn’t miss much. I did, however, log onto NFL’s app & rip them a new one for the peacock thing. Maybe it’s Fios’s fault, but hopefully there’s no more exclusive streaming bullshit for the rest of the playoffs.

 

I get it, the NFL is a business and therefore a profit thing. But they need to play the long game here. It’s one thing to play around with a few NFL network and Prime games during the regular season. But all playoffs should be accessible to everyone. Make your bucks on advertising only those games. The goal is to build the fan base not p!$$ everyone off by squeezing the last $5 out of them.

He must have had helmet heated while on the sideline or there's some sort of heating pad in the helmet.

 

No game impact as they didn’t gain any more yards that drive. But yes, they should have done whatever is standard when a player has an equipment issue.

 

You're right...the business shouldn't upset the apple cart by sole sourcing/increasing membership of a streaming service (NBC).

Not everyone is migrating to streaming service (right away) but this seems to be the reason for this action.

I think I’d have to agree the Cardinals rival the Lions and Browns for longest suffering fans. They are the oldest team in the league and have one title (1947 - Chicago Cardinals), plus a ‘best record title’ in 1925 which is before there were playoffs.

 

They want you to pay for everything now. Reruns on the tube I've already seen they want you to pay for again. And this in-your-face tactic comes when the writers' strike hasn't produced new shows for months on end. Asking for money to see a wild card game is over the fkng top greed. They want to start that shit, Ill just glance at the play by play on the computer occasionally until they want money for that too.

 

He’s good for culture (aside from what you said) plus I know he donates to some solid causes and is outspoken regarding suicide awareness and prevention. Dude got the Walter Peyton award so he’s doing good shit
