I'm not a fan of heavy recoiling firearms.

I'm of the opinion that nothing is free, and you pay for things you do, sooner or later.
I developed a doozy of a flinch after, oh, 100k or so rounds fired shooting Trap.
Mind you, Trap shotguns are purposely built quite heavy (for durability but also recoil mitigation).

I tamed that flinch by going to a release trigger.
Nobody has ever satisfactorily explained why that works, but it does.
Anyway...

So, the Cowboys play the Packers in the first playoff game today. The weather inside AT&T Stadium will be around 70°
I don’t know if the Packers can handle that

 

True story! A few years back a couple of guys was filming one of their girlfriends shooting a Desert Eagle 50 cal. semi auto. She shot and the recoil pulled the gun back towards her head and she accidentally pulled the trigger again and shot herself in the head.

My main concern was that the recoil would pull the gun back and someone else would get hurt - didn't even think about it ending that way
