Oil pump bolts backed out and fell into the timing gear and shredded the belt

 

So is the car beyond salvation, or are you going to fix it?

 

I love custom vans but this? That’ll be a no from me, dog.

 

No it's fixable, don't really want to fix it. But I will. Probably cost about $110 to fix in parts. Hard part is getting a new crank gear here from Saudi Arabia

Yeah but none of the US distributors have the pre 1995 gear anymore. UAE place I get my Land Cruiser parts from has it for cheap though

 

I heard that some 1995 Toyotas are OBD2; I met a guy with a 1995 FZJ that was OBD2. Does the 1995 Corolla have OBD2?

Yeah 95 models are OBDII in US for Toyotas, they met the guidelines a year early. My 95 Tacoma was OBDII and so are the 95 Corollas and LC.

 

So all Tacomas are OBD2, as well as 1995 Camrys? What about the 1995 T-100s and Pickups?

As far as I know 95 T-100 are as well, 1st year of the 5VZ, there are no USDM 5VZ vehicles that aren't OBDII compliant
