Got Three pairs. Redwing discontinued them, a while ago. keep getting them redone. Got Vibram lugs on them now. They'll boot someone's ass if needed. I figure the three pairs should last until retirement. All the new boots from Redwing have to be sent to the factory to get redone. Takes at least 5 weeks now. That's why I just keep redoing these. A few weeks and they are as good as new.

Well, at least you have live TV. This Air BNB place I'm at doesn't. And if I go into a place around here to watch it. It's going to be a somber crowd :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

Redwing are all mink oiled and laced up. Not using them right away as the old ones still have some life left in them and currently need ice cleats at work. It's a pain to put them on so might as well keep them on the old ones

I oil mine about once a month. Depends if I'm doing a ground-up project or TI. TI's are inside work. I just use the redwing boot oil.

Shoot I got a brand new pair of Danner Super Rain Forest non-insulated boots I haven't even worn yet. Bought them for 25% off on sale two years ago. Those are going to take a bit to break in.

Depends on how wet I get them too. Or how much dirt and mud. If too much mud i throw on a pair of muck boots

I had a pair I couldn’t get broken in after a month of hard use. Got completely soaked in a rain storm and were great after.

I found with Redwings you oil the shit out of them and they break in fast. A lot of the trades by the Walmart cheap boots. They don't last. And your feet get messed up walking on concrete pads all the time. Been wearing Redwings for 26 years
