How's the shop heat holding up @WiscoPat ?
-6(-26) and I'm holding 56F with the Mr. Heater on low (30k btu).
Certainly not a permanent fixture as propane costs would break me running that daily.
Better than laying in the snow working on cars......been there.

Previously drywalled ceiling needs to be taped and finished. I feel it's losing quite a bit of heat through.

 

It's doing well! Thankful to have the insulation and heat.

I think my utility bill will go up by about $40/month during the coldest temps, but that's worth it to me for running heat.

 

I guess the propane isn't so bad then. I've been spending a lot of time out here. Going through about 2 of the 27#'s/month at about $25ea.

 

It's just better all around to have a more climate controlled space.

Not only is it pleasant to work in, but it's easier on batteries, vehicles, gear, tools, plastics, fluids won't freeze, etc.

 

Good point about batteries. I recommend that anyone who doesn't have a climate controlled garage keep their power tool batteries in the house. Lithium Ion batteries are terrible in cold weather.

 

If anyone is bored, feel free to form a convoy and you can start being the first people down a lot of the roads around here.
