Glad you figured that out. Doesn’t sound too safe. When we first moved into this house I noticed rusting areas in it ( breaker panel) and had it promptly changed . Nothing since. Didn’t really look into what the cause was

Well I duct sealed the top of the meter pan where the wire goes in then the wire from bottom of meter pan where it goes through the siding . Since the weather has gotten colder there will be no rain to check it for now . Pretty sure that was the problem since there was only a small bead of I don’t know what in those areas way to go electrical contractor

I used to follow football and basketball games very seriously; not anymore since the revelation of those scandals. Sportsmanship is now a vague term to me.
