I had an 1855 in my oval with a 2 barrel Webber and if there wasn’t much gas in the tank, the front could get really light off the line but because of all the weight back there it wasn’t hard to do. It looks impressive but it’s really a design flaw with bugs. With this one I built pretty stock with the exception of a “cheater cam” which is a few extra hp with no trade off and a cb maxi2 pump. My goal was to build a motor that would last for my years with the car and hopefully when my son gets it from me.

It's not actually that bad. My aunt has been living with her for a little bit now, but now has decided to try and up and move to North Carolina (it's a longer story, but that's the gist). So that would leave her in her place all by herself and she's finally conceded at 90 years old she needs help. Assisted living places around here are way too expensive so I told her just come here if and when this happens. She can spend her last years here free of worry.

Good morning shop crew. Last day of decent weather for the week and I have a gutter that needs cleaning out. But first, more coffee

    Opinions needed.........

We recently bought 10 acres with a house and shop in the mountains. Our yard isn't the most level since it's.....in the mountains. We have about 2 acres grass around the house and shop and the rest is wooded.

I pulled my gooseneck trailer towards the edge of the woods and unloaded a load of logs for firewood, since I won't be using the gooseneck anytime soon I unhooked it right there and left it. It's out of my way and it's gonna be wet so I won't be able to get it out anytime soon unless I absolutely need to.

Saturday Cole and I went to the neighbors to get her mower so I can work on it for her. She ask me nicely "are you going to leave that blue trailer parked there? If so, I can plant something to hide it. It messes up my sunset pictures".

I said I probably won't leave it there and I'll move it next time I need it. Since I'm a non confrontational person I didn't say anything else.

Unless something changes it'll be several months before I need it, hence why I parked it there.

I'm not trying to talk about the lady, but she's a control freak. Ever since we moved in she's been telling us how to do stuff. I try to let it go in one ear and out the other.

I can't imagine going to the neighbor on the other side of us and asking him to move something cause it messes up my pictures. I just crop his house out of it.

I land kind of on the other end, I can be aggressive at times. Without getting too crazy I would just say.. that is your property, to use as you see fit. And if she would like to plant something on her side to pretty up the view so be it

Just leave it there. It's your property and there's no HOA.

Neighbors can be frustrating. I lucked out for the most part, they've been super cool. However, I think I ticked off the daughter of the property behind me. They lease their farm land out and one time one of the renters stopped their truck in the lane right at the corner of my property, got out and proceeded to get out a gun. PA has a 150 yard from dwelling restriction and he was maybe 75' from my garage. Guy in the passenger seat seen me and the guy got back in the truck. Called the daughter and asked her about it, but I think since she thinks I'm some kind of anti-gun type person (all I'm allowed to say on here ). I just don't want someone to scare the shit out of mother and the animals.

Opinions are like assholes.. everyone has one. Just because she gave her opinion to you doesn't mean you have to take it.

Is she asking you to plant something on your property to hide the trailer on your property? Sounds like you found the perfect spot for a new building!

And you're working on her mower? Sounds like a perfect time to double your prices!

She is already on my bad side anyway. She was coming by on a daily basis and kept on telling us how to do stuff. I just smiled.

Labor Day Cole was on the skidsteer and I was on the saw, we were trimming some trees back. My wife gets a text from her, I assume it was meant for the neighbor on the other side of her. It read, in short...."I guess that's her man on his man toys making all the noise".

My wife responded "that is him, he and Cole are trimming some trees back".

An hour or two later she walked to the house, I was mowing the yard and didn't know about the text. I stopped the mower and walked up to say hey, just being nice. Had I known about the text I would have done it a little different.

After that, I didn't see her for a couple months.

She doesn't want me to plant something, she said she would. I doubt she ever will.

Yeah chalk her up as a loon. You can be friendly but can also ignore all her advice. She will learn eventually to mind her own business

Our house is on the left, hers is on the right. The orange is the property line, the blue is where my trailer is parked.
