Put on a hiring freeze and move some people up so you can pay them more than they were making, but less than you'd pay a fresh candidate. Fill the lower position with somebody paid even less than the freshly promoted employee was making.

Profit.

 

Then, tell the masses "nobody wants to work anymore" until mindless zombies start repeating it everywhere; then, you may run your skeleton crew in peace while the working class points fingers at itself.

 

See, you get it. Now go do those three people's jobs in the same time.

 

dont forget 'quiet quitting'. my favorite is when executives try to explain it and say people are only doing what we pay them to and no extra and thats bad lol

 

That's just how absolutely Orwellian this timeline has become. The doublespeak talking points are getting pushed pretty hard at the executive level.

 

That whole malicious compliance thing sometimes can work in our favor. We just have to stick it out for a hot minute.

Same. Astigmatism since birth. RIP. Asked about lasik a while ago and they were like.... "welllllll...it might make it a little better?"

 

My astigmatism isn't the worst and I managed to outrun it for as long as possible. Starting at age 10, every eye exam they'd say I was about five years away from needing glasses. Finally got them a few years ago at 32. I'd gone to a model contest one weekend and realized I couldn't focus on any of the builds. But hey, now I don't have headaches at the end of the day either.

 

That's a plus. My eyes always hurt because I also live with perpetually dry eyes and a hatred for eyedrops.

 

welll if you hate eyedrops just get a little water gun and fill it up and give it to the wife boom! you never know when you gonna get it!

 

you will be fine! just gotta be ready for an attack at any moment bathroom breaks, gaming, eating, sleeping, you are never safe!
