I got a little sick last week so I didn't ride into work on Thursday, other than that I've just been commuting. Weekends are now for skiing, though this past weekend my wife and I were in @TacoTyusday and @nd4spdbh 's neck of the woods in San Diego (took her car, didn't ride unfortunately).

I've been doing the GLMC planning but it doesn't look like it's happening.

    upload_2024-1-15_9-3-15.png

Still at only 18 points and that's over 2k miles of riding... Think I'm going to pass as I don't think it's worth riding over 3k miles (to grind out the last 2 points) for a t-shirt.

I never realized this could present such a challenge for some of you. Guess our multitude of boroughs and townships in PA make it easy for me. I plotted in Basecamp PA, MD, DE, NJ, OH, WV, and some of VA and have over 107 locations marked so far. I can likely get finisher status in one ride and less than a tank of fuel. It honestly does bum me out a little that the theme is less fair than I expected. I'm still watching to see what Team Strange comes up with for their 2024 grand tour as I'll likely sign up for it as well. Once I know more I'll share it here in hopes it might be playable for some of you.

Rode in 40-45 degree weather last week, night ride. Wasn't dressed properly and it sucked so bad.

I am definitely not a tough guy when it comes to the cold but, with heated gloves and some cheap ski bibs, I can ride comfortably down into the 30's on my naked FZ1...

I’ve racked up about 300 miles of practice under my belt, so I felt confident enough to ride into town to run errands before the temps plummet this afternoon. Had to stop for the required Starbucks photo shoot.
