Been searching for a while and can't find a good answer. Potentially looking at TRD replicas that come in 18x9 with +12 offset. I know that would result in 5.5" of backspacing but I know don't if that will/won't fit.

Current setup is Level 8 MK6 17x8 -10 offset with 265/70/17 KO2s and they rub at full lock. I'm on a leveling kit.

There’s no point to an 18” on a truck let alone a 9” wide given the tire sizes available.

Yes, i want to know if 5.5 backspacing will rub on UCA or anything else.

There is no point on 90% of these trucks running all terrain tires when they never see even a patch of dirt road, but here we are.

What size tire would you plan on running?

Haven't gotten that far into the research, other than something similar to the overall size of what I'm running now.

Depending on tire size, a 9 wide with 12mm offset will more than likely rub factory uca's. I'd stick with 0mm or less. If you're dead set on a certain wheel and it doesn't come in anything other than 12mm, the cheapest fix would be wheel spacers. At the same time, the lower offset you go the greater chance of rubbing else where as you already know with your current set up.

5” backspace is about as much as you want to go. It’s gets pretty tight in there beyond that and you’ll have the same issue with a 9” 0 offset as you currently do with the 8” -10. Are you trying to get rid of the rubbing?

Thanks for the input! Not dead set on a wheel (or size) if it doesn't fit as is.

Thank you, this helps a lot since i found a comment saying that 5.5" is the limit but couldn't substantiate with any other information. If I end up chaging wheels then I'd like to get rid of the rubbing, since i already trimming and still rubs at full turn.

I had 18x9 +0 wheels with 305s. If I remember correctly, I could barely fit my finger between the tire and the UCA.

The optimal wheel with the least amount of trimming(sometimes none) is 8” 0 offset that’s the sweet spot.
