You ordered a vehicle, but don’t know what it costs or looks like? If so, yes, you’re wrong.

The sway bar disconnect mechanism gets a little skid plate, even though the Pro doesn't come with a transmission skid like the Trail Hunter does. The Pro also gets the 1-piece aluminum driveshaft that'll get chowdered up if you take it over rocks: Underground 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro Utah Auto Expo 4.jpg 20240112_195455.jpg

I haven't seen the new Tacoma in person yet, the new Colorado is a pretty nice truck - we just got one for R&D.
And coming from someone with kids - Toyota failed to add rear seat vents when GM included in both of their models. SMH...Come on Toyota, such a little thing to make this truck a bit more family friendly.

I can see how this is pointless to some buyers, but to those of us with families, it matters big time. It is one of my biggest gripes.

And no, the little ducts on the floor Toyota gives us is not good enough.

Yeah the rear seat vent thing really has been a bummer, every time I do put people in the back seat, I hear about it...lol

I can't imagine it would be hard to add, just seems like a big design oversight. If enough people complain, they'll add for the next model year. They did that with the power rear glass in 2017.

But they gave us a removable speaker instead. Strange design priorities. If the kids in the backseat complain about being hot or cold just throw them the speaker to play with. :D

Based on this video posted a few times in the 4th gen section, it's a sliding gear/collar design, so it'll work similarly to the one in the Jeep Rubicon - you'd need to be on level ground to engage/disengage it, unlike the hydraulic-based system in the Bronco.

I was just coming home from snowboarding last night and my daughter in the back says. It’s so cold back here that I’m opening up some hand warmer packs to stay warm. :D
