What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Get a punch that fits inside the torx head and get a couple good pops with a ballpeen hammer and then use a breaker bar for leverage. Keep pressure on the socket so it stays squared in the slot to prevent stripping.

 

Pretty sure I've tried everything short of taking a torch to it, but I'll try that (possibly again) next time I attempt it. It's beat be twice so far and cars do not usually win lol.

 

I was looking at an electric tailgate lock really hard. Hated having to use a key all of the time. I was looking again at my tailgate and noticed two sets of wires coming out of my tailgate and, low and behold, it's already in there! I got the truck at a Honda dealership and the salesman who handed me the keys didn't even know how to open the tonneau cover!

It would’ve been cheaper to delete the sway bar. It’s a game changer.

 

Except if that was the Outer Banks there would be about a million other vehicles around.

That’s what confuses me, wider tire, same height, and 5% lighter. I had duratracs on my FJ. Great looking tire and performed reasonably well. Super loud as they aged though.

Yea, it gets kinda crowded in season, but this time of year, not so much. I'll take the crowds anyday cause it means it's warm/hot outside, not cold like it is now. I f'ing hate the cold! I know it doesn't get as cold here as other places, but it's cold for us! And don't get me started on the wind!!!

Thank God I put security screws on the inside of the ditch lights. Someone tried to snatch one up last night, turned it and thought “sh!t”

 

Dang. They should’ve gone for the lower bracket mount.

 

I plan to get that hardware next haha.
