has any one satoshi'd the grill and still used their URD CAI ? I haven't added mine but i need some measurements of 1 that's installed already...
also will their be any tabs/hooks to hook our grillcraft mesh (center piece and triangles) ? I already have the mesh or i would just buy it off of you... but im interested in the mesh insert for the hood scoop... will it have the finished framing (the black trim) like the grillcraft does or will it be rough cut ?

    Hmmmm...pretty tempted.

Question on painting the stock chrome outer portion of the Grill. I thought I read somewhere that you can't paint the chrome ones...something about not holding the primer and chipping easily (?). has anyone had success with painting a chrome grille to colour match? Or is this best left to a body shop/professional?

    Cheers,

    Coach

Count me in for a reduced dept insert, no mesh.

Do I PM you once my name gets added?

Edit: hold off for now pending verification that we're OK to use timsxr's insert

Can the stock grill insert be re-used (or glued back in) after the tabs are cut to remove it?

ie, Can I sell the insert piece or keep it if I ever need to go back to stock (not that I'd want to, but sometimes you sell to some people who want the stock look)

    Thx --- PM sent

    Guys,
I'll update the list & reply to questions & PM's later this evening once the kids are in bed. I had to postpone my meeting with Manufactured Plastics until this Thursday. I just had too much going on with work to get over there this afternoon and I did not even make it home until after 6.
    Thank you!:D

Still up in the air I'm assuming. Needs go to have words with the plastic manufacturer. But the mesh guys are good to go, and if you're ordering a hood scoop insert, he's gotta form it by hand.

All in all it's depending on what you order. But the plastic isn't even a for sure yet.

You don't actually cut anything on the grill insert. The tabs are actually part of the our piece. Now, if you want to keep the outer piece and use it again, shouldn't be too hard to glue/epoxy it back together.
