Short story here. My son as we speak is in Coast Guard Bootcamp. I bought him a 2007 Tacoma AC 4x4 about 18 months ago. For his graduation present my wife wants to add power windows. Power locks were added when we had the remote start added so those aren't needed. I know we need door panels etc. What else are we going to need?? Do these trucks already come wired from the factory? Just asking before we take the doors apart. Any suggestions will help. Thank You

Your going to need the window motors and associated hardware, switches, and door wiring at a minimum I would think, I couldn't tell you if the rest of the truck is pre-wired or not.
Wiring diagrams and connector locations attached below if that helps.

First thing to decide is if you want to go with all OEM parts or are ok with doing an aftermarket system. The OEM option is going to be expensive as you will need all the wiring, the door panels and switch assembles and stock window regulators and motors.

Going aftermarket can be as simple as getting a SPAL power widow kit which will come with motors, adapters so they can work using the stock crank mount, their own switches and wiring. It'll be hundreds less but not look factory.

I’d take crank windows all day long.

I’d go to a junkyard and gut some doors. Or buy the whole damn thing, maybe you can get one with damage to the outside for cheap

Weathertechs instead sound like a great gift tho. Best idea in this thread

check the wiring going into the door on the cab side. There are 3 connectors for the door. Window, locks, and mirror. I bet theres an unused connector which would be for the power windows. I just scrapped a left front door and pulled the motor and lift mech, super easy to install.
