Also "punch" the treads below the lock nut. If they do ever have to be removed from the hood mount, just split the nut. Piece of cake.

Ordered my Rav-4 knobs, Ourisman Toyota had the best price and shipping, super fast I’ll be puttin on knobs by Saturday.

 

Had the winds as well. Supposed to get back up to 37° tomorrow.

 

I have not-so-fond memories of walking out to my vehicle after work and needing to break the freezing rain from the door handle, then pull hard to open the door ... then use the ice-scraper to remove 1/4 in crusted ice from the vehicle.
