Just got up and around got a callback from a b&b 1/4 mile from my last stop they have a room. But the guy said the roads are pretty well jacked up so vt has 24 hours to work on that and I have chains if I need them. Just part of transporting in the winter everything is pretty much interstate except they are throwing in a pregnant momma to Philly. That makes for a little cutting across to get back on track. I need one of those new all wheel drive vans they are converting to campers.

It’s freezing rain up here. Not a good time to be out on the roads. Watch the overpasses and drive like you have an open pot of scalding hot coffee in your lap…

I should get in your area about 10/11 hopefully that will be a good thing. I’ll be going through Dewayne land about 2am. That’s usually a good thing not many people on the road around then if I have to stop and sit it out for a while I will though. I’m trying to not look at it as a negative attitude but I packed more in case of emergency supplies this trip. Dog food cat food extra water buddy heater sleeping bag and mat chains. Hopefully none of it will be necessary.

 

Hmmm, yeah but it's going down with the sun. Lows going to be in the negatives tonight.

 

Evening folks it’s a balmy 3* and going to bottom out at 0*, what’s the saying, “careful what you wish for “. The local news guy was interviewing some snowmobiliers at the trailhead. They’re having a great time, news guy asks if they are staying warm. Oh yeah it’s not bad, then proceeds to show all the heated seat, helmet, grips.

 

It’s not a bad idea to let the water trickle in a faucet or two, helps keep the pipes from freezing.

 

My house was brand new when I moved in 2yrs ago !!
