I have not-so-fond memories of walking out to my vehicle after work and needing to break the freezing rain from the door handle, then pull hard to open the door ... then use the ice-scraper to remove 1/4 in crusted ice from the vehicle.

    Good times!

if you notice on my third photo I have a different screw that requires a “snakebite” head to unlock it. You can get these from a hardware store but it does deter simple thieves. There’s also a security hardware to replace the lock nut underneath for the ditch light mount to the hood bracket.

I spent the weekend in the mountains skiing and just before I left got these Blizzaks put on. It was a good thing because we got a lot of snow this weekend followed by a deep freeze on Monday.

    IMG_3167.jpg

Sadly, I got home yesterday to discover the plow man decided all the snow should be piled in front of my driveway. It took about three hours of digging to even reach the driveway. Then I got in and discovered my snowblower isn’t working. This storm is the gift that keeps on giving.

That plow doesn't look like wouldn't be working. Let set to long and the gas is bad?

Sometimes after they have been left setting a while they need a little help. Take the spark plug out, pour a LITTLE gas into the cylinder, and start it. May take a couple of times.

I had to check my old faded tattoo, but the EGA looks weird with the anchor on the right.
