Call it "continuing education" and be happy. He had a winch, it died, he replaced it and has another winch.

    Good morning :pccoffee:

Made me look Jim and same here, below zero through Sunday which is normal but then in the 30's Monday and next week. Guess I will be spending the weekend with the root chopper digging a path in the snow in front of the garage for all the water to drain down the hill instead of flooding the garage and house. That is normally an April type of thing. Not that I am complaining! Going to be a lot of ice in the mornings as all the snow melt freezes overnight. Time to check the calcium chloride inventory. But first more coffee.

So to change the topic from weather, I have a question. To all the HR, managers, business owners, and bosses. What is the proper amount of time to give a resignation. My daughter turned in her resignation yesterday and stated she will be leaving the end of February. Her boss is pissed and she’s leaving him “hanging “, and it may effect her bonus for 23’, I already feel she’s gone above and beyond what is required.

I'm not in HR (hard pass on that one) but did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once. Unless specified in the employment contract or policy and procedures document 2 weeks prior notice is the generally accepted time frame notice of resignation.

It is not uncommon for some places to escort you out the door as soon as you turn it in. If it is not in her contract I'd mention the word lawsuit to her boss or HR. That seems to strike fear in their hearts even if you don't plan on actually doing it, they don't like the publicity.

Good morning. -8 with the wind here. I opened a new bag of coffee this morning. Those beans seem too taste so much better when fresh. Waiting for the wind to die so I can walk my dog.

Wow its 15 here but I am in central NH. That weather down there is crazy. Maybe it will kill off some of those pythons.
