This is my weather guy, built his house 15 years ago, and played hockey with him. I played defense, he played forward on a different team :DIMG_0169.jpg
It’s warmer by the lake, but they get more snow

2 weeks is preferred and in some contracts required. I’m sure she has gone above and beyond. As someone who has to hire, the hiring pool is shallow these days. No excuse for being pissed, but probably knows it’s going to be hard to fill her position with someone who will do the job as well as she did. Those individuals are few and far between. It’s sad that he is threatening her bonus though. That’s not right.

I understand his frustration, but do the right thing. Especially because she’s going above and beyond what’s required.

2 weeks is standard. I can see in some highly trained positions that more might be warranted - medical related jobs and things like that.
And how would anyone be able to move on to other jobs if they had to give more? You interviewed for a job, get an offer and then say great but I’ll have to check with my current boss when I’m ALLOWED to leave…?!?! Nope.

My wife and I were raised to always take the higher ground, be the better person. That aside, it works in her favor, doesn’t have a new job yet, their lease runs through March. Her boyfriend of 4 years bought a house.

:notsure: I’m in the western panhandle part of Florida, we don’t have the pythons or iguanas. AFAIK they are a south Florida (Miami, Lake Okeechobee, Everglades) problem. They are probably migrating north but I haven’t heard about it.
