Internet was right about the B & S twin pushing the valve guide out and sticking the valve, thus breaking the push rod. The one with the broke push rod, the guide is out.

 

I went and picked up our taxes yesterday, lady said "we started on them, if you need anything let me know".

Um, I need you to finish them, that's why I brought them to you.

I seriously had to bite my tongue and walk away.

 

Sounds like a health issue and that led to the decision.
From listening to my sister they don't start working and then just stop. Like you being late with your stuff or being unreasonable. Something happened in their personal life.
Wish I could be more helpful.

 

I don't know what happened. It was just her and one other lady working there. The other lady quit last year and she hired another lady. They were both there yesterday.

Luckily my wife found a guy who is going to do them, she is taking them today.

 

@six5crèéd I just thought of this. Have your wife ask if she could recommend to you another accountant.
Just a thought.

I saw on FB last week a friend of mine who has a gutter business, his wife posted about her accountant retiring January 31st and giving no warning. I wish she would have said who it was, it's the same one.

You would think with me taking ours to her the first of December since we closed the store in July, she would have either done them or said something instead of waiting until now.

And if it is a health issue, be truthful about it. It would help those of us affected by it have sympathy for her instead of being angry. Very unprofessional and she is a very professional lady, I had a lot of respect for her.

 

At what temp do the iguana's start falling from the trees there, like 68*

 

You know the old saying, it ain't a party till the iguanas start falling from the trees...err something like that.

It feels pretty good applying for a job and getting an email within an hour trying to set up an interview. Sniffer engaged. We'll see if the rubber meets the road. Wife is right, per the usual. I need to be praying about it.

I had to check, iguanas start becoming sluggish at around 50* and start falling at 40*. South Florida hasn’t even reached slow iguana temps
