I took mine out for a 12 mile drive...also, changed the FOB battery.

Time to bust out the snow brush and charge the Portable Jump Starter Power Pack.

Good morning Delaware + surrounding areas.

Snow brushed my truck this morning then remote-started her.

There's a 2-hr delay for work but my peer told me the roads are just wet.

    Hey John.

Wow, bother...that's a lot of build up overnight!

    Stay Safe.

I ended up getting a text/phone call telling me to work remotely from home.

Had a 9am WebEx call and doing other functions on my laptop.

Apparently, there was a power outage in our bldg.

Of course, today there was a scheduled bulk item pick-up that needed loading.

Otherwise, the rest of my group is going home.

We're open for business out west/south of y'all. There weren't any real good roads left thanks to the silly plows and salts. :( I wish they'd leave all that stuff on the roads - much more fun.

Good morning Delaware + surrounding areas.

It's bloody freezing this morning: 14F feels like 2F

Remote started my truck this morning.

Last evening, I took her out on a errand run but before I could, I had to unfreeze my truck.

I remembered not to engage the parking brake so it doesn't seize the rear drum pads.

    Be careful out there everyone!

it's a balmy 16 here and I love it. Would prefer 5° and about another foot of snow laying around....but I am a broken record...of course.

*For those younger than about 30, Records were vinyl discs with grooves cut into them containing physical sound (it's like sorcery). When one is broken, it "skips" part of a song, OR, like me, it repeats the same portion.

Thanks man. It's some condolence. True story "For love" I turned down a job in Fairbanks. I know, right? (sigh)

I keep telling myself I need to get me one of them. Unfortunately I still haven't gotten around to it. At least the Silverado I got from Enterprise while my truck's in the shop has remote start. And heated seats. And heated steering wheel. Man, it might be hard to go back... lol

Some of the reasons I’m low key considering a 4th gen… that and supposedly it can come with 35” tires from factory, on the trail hunter and pro.

I installed heated seats myself. Can’t do anything about the steering wheel.

But I really want a green truck. Maybe 2025 or I can convince my wife it’s a good idea to spend 3-4K to have it wrapped

are you shopping remote starts? I saw a 12vSolutions (if I recall) module that essentially just plugs in. Simple. It's about 5 bills, but I think I'll go that route.

Try this, it's a fairly easy install and quite a bit less expensive. Mine works 95% of the time
