Evades responsibility? That doesn't even make sense, but OK.

Chances are you and I will never meet anyhow. The glory of the interwebz, keyboard warriorz can run their pie holes with impunity.

Fact, in the left lane I would agree with that. I will start with a flash of my lights, if that doesn't work once or twice then that person is just being a douche bag. Pretty simple courtesy.

Hint, use your mirrors and if you see cars coming up on you move over. If you see MULTIPLE cars piled up behind you, you are the problem. Which was my whole point to begin with.

Is it illegal to stay in the left lane in Kentucky?
Most people think they are clear on the rules when it comes to traveling on the interstate in Kentucky. One law that may surprise people involves driving in the left lane – it is illegal to drive in the left lane unless you are passing a car. This is to prevent slower drivers from reducing the speed of traffic.

How much is a left lane ticket in Arkansas?
Arkansas District 7 Circuit Clerk's office said they've received several calls about being cited for impeding traffic by driving in the left lane, with the cost of the fine being $195. The law states that cars in Arkansas should always be driven in the right lane.

    Oklahoma
    • What happens if you violate the law? If you are pulled over for driving in the left lane for impermissible reasons, you can subject to a fine as high as $235. It is considered a moving violation, too. So, if you break the law, it can add points to your driving record and possibly raise your insurance rates. As you can see, Oklahoma is taking a pretty aggressive stance on this matter.

Yes... Left lane is for passing. If I'm in the left lane passing a group of cars but not going as fast as the person behind me wishes...(flashing lights, weaving, riding my bumper) I will indeed pass, at MY pace. I consider myself a professional and courteous driver. I am on the road for a living as I have to visit customers in my job, I travel many thousands of miles a year and I intend to come home to my family, not get tickets and keep my insurance as low as possible (hard to do in the FLA) and will not engage with the "road... RAGE!!!!

I usually only use the left to pass, but there is always the asshole a mile back that will come up behind me going 100mph acting like I cut him off until I move back over.

As long as your "passing" I think most people don't care. It's the ones that pace the car in the slower lanes that make it aggravating to everyone else. It should not take 10 miles to pass a car. It's the ones that pace and/or pass and don't move over, they expect you to go around them. Thats the case I have been trying to make. If someone is doing that then they get treated as such. Not that hard to comprehend. Seems everyone is focused on my statement about "scraping dirt off your bumper" more than the debate at hand. That comment is merely an ancillary portion of the argument and for the most part irrelevant.

That's why I stopped backing all the way in with the bed of the truck overhanging.

I wish this video was compatible with this site but it keeps coming up just a picture, once the railroad crossing shows clear and the gate goes up a train comes roaring past.

I'm impressed those "blast shields" in the ground continue to function in snow and ice.
