So figured out why I was getting water on the passenger side floorboard. Previous owner apparently had some type of roof rack up there. Every time I would wash my truck at the car wash water would drip inside passenger side floorboard. I pulled the roof drip molding up and noticed the holes fully exposed. Not sealed after they took the rack off I’m assuming. question is what do I do to seal them up just put silicone over them? Get bolts that are short enough to go back in then silicone over top of them.
what have you all done? Recommendations please and thank you.

I would use bolts with teflon tape and then seal over the bolt head. Should be good for life of truck.

Teflon on the bolt threads is a very good idea, definatly water proofed then.

    The ones that fit.

    Sorry couldn't resist.

You should be able to get rubber washers aswell to keep the head of the bolt off the body and help seal it up then silicone over
