I am getting ready to purchase all my rear suspension components. I am having a bit of a hard time deciding if I should go with a 2.5" body shock or a 2.0" body shock? I was leaning toward the 2.5" sway away shocks with 10" of travel, but is that a little much for the kind of wheeling I do?

You know I was looking at the 2.5" body shocks. There a little too much money... I am probably going with the 2.0" shocks. lol

Yea more oil capacity. I would save and go with the 2.5 looks like you beat your truck hard at times. That is a sweet truck that you do have.

Id go with the one that has the strongest rod if mostly what you are doing is jumping your truck. Also that 10" of travel is going to come in handy cushioning your landing so u you dont smash your truck to death lol. if you are more about tearing across the sand at high speed thats when you need a 2.5" body

Well looking for an example i looked at Racerunners Shocks 2.0 vs 2.5 and same size rod , only diffrence is the oil quantity. I guess 2.5's it is ! if you can afford it. But the 2.0s dont look that bad either.

just remember if you get new longer travel shocks you need extended brake lines

edit: or is this only for the 2nd gens? icr
