He mentioned on his build page he had it listed Way higher at 25k on some EV forums..

Yeah, not gonna lie, I would have whipped out 10K from savings for that beast of a project.

I can't imagine he did any better than breaking even for that price...

 

At 10k it would pay for itself in fuel for me in the first year. I would think he would be lucky if he broke even for that project. Between the truck parts and the amount of labor into that thing it was a loss. Atleast he learned how to do it.

 

That was kind of my thoughts - definitely with the labor added in, he took a huge L. Especially selling for about 1/3 of what he was hoping for.

 

Maybe if he splurged and gave it a nice paint job it would have fetched more but thats a shot in the dark. Drop 5k on a new paint job and hope to double that price. I dont know tho thats a big gamble.

This all started with there dogs killing our baby kitty, RZA, 2 weeks ago. He was my little car port kitten and he would hang with me while I wrenched. I cried hard when I had to pick that body up. Neighbors say they have been doing this for years and no one will do anything about it. We’re going to look at new houses and planning on moving further north. I’m done with Phoenix. If stay here I’m going to end up in prison.

Would be fun though to pull up with every armed Tacoma in the city, just to make a point.

motherfuckers. I'm sorry you had to go through that man.. I can only imagine. Our boy Ratchet looks just like RZA.. and his brother Socket just passed from a heart attack a few months ago as well. I dont blame you and wouldnt be able to stand that either. I'm willing to do whatever to try and help man. I can call in a report, we can get multiple others to call in reports, I'm sure there is something that can be done. I truly like animals more than people, especially cats.. and anyone who treats them, or any animal differently or less-than compared to other animals.. deserves to be equally punished and can rot.

I would gladly join in on the making a point thing as well... I can grab my and my coworkers paintball guns as well...
