Thomas and Katy (owners) just welcomed their first child, so they're a little behind on things I'm guessing but Thomas replied to my e-mail two weeks ago.

Sounds counter intuitive, but try them on instagram. They tend to reply faster in my experience.

Looking for some input. I put down insulation for the bottom half of the camper but left the clam shell part alone primarily because I ran out of insulation and wasn't sure I wanted to use more reflectix (if this was the best spot to put it). Its winter and traveling with 2 ppl and 2 dogs the condensation has been bad. We ventilate and use a fan but still get a good amount on the roof part of the clam shell. Even in storage, after doing the typical clean and dry out, a few days later there will be still condensation. So here I am, bought some more reflectix and carpet to install, but wanted to see if anyone else has any input. Sorry for the potatoe pictures didn't have a good light source and was at work.

Of note, we have considered a diesel heater but haven't pulled to trigger yet just to help with the issue and a bonus for heat.

Topo Topper is offering roof insulation now. I'm not sure what material they use, but I'm going to ask when I'm there for my instal in two weeks.

I saw post on their IG stories not too long ago. If I had to guess, its foam board insulation with marine carpet over it. Theres no gap between the ceiling and the metal cross bars.

Was just there picking up mine and they showed me the panels - as you say, foam board insulation, I think a super thin plywood sheet sandwiched in, carpet wrapped and some brackets. Simple and light. Seems they offer a few things not on the website menu - third brake light, insulation panels, likely other stuff. They have some new things in the works there maybe they will update the site as they are ready to offer. Sort of like the secret in-and-out menu….just ask and they will work with you with build ideas. They are great to work with and seem like a good crew. I camped all the way back to the rockies through all sorts of weather and already feeling like it was way worth it. I want to insulate also but need to put time in it in all conditions before I start making choices.

Third brake light seems like it should be included as a standard option, but I'm ok without it.

Camper shell, Sliders...much more to come
Had a great time at Panoche Hills, CA. Can confirm Mesa holds up super well in deep mud puddles and never shifted climbing and descending steep grades

I saw a Topo Topper at Movement Englewood yesterday and now I’m looking into these.

Is there anyone in the front range or around Denver CO that has a Mesa that I could take a look at? Coffee’s on me!

Ok so I admit we are at payload once loaded but I can't think of getting rid of anything we don't use besides a smaller awning. Really can't complain about this thing besides nit picking.

How are they mounting these? Still just standard topper clamps, or drill through? Thanks

Four standard clamps on each side and screws into the rail for the front

*edit- I THINK they have a new one coming out, its a wider body one..the owners live down the street and the truck always has a new color/style on it, they look insanely nice.

New model? What do you mean by "wider body", like the camper extends beyond the bed?

Yeah its slightly larger than the bed, doesn't look extreme but possibly 3" out on a 45* angle. It looks nice, good idea to add a little extra space.
