Ahhh, being private it makes sense

Bet some douche rolled their shit and expected help (whether it was recovery efforts or more)

Out here it's either BLM or state owned and the only rules to the state parks is, open at sunrise and close at sunset

Public land is ok. No rules there. Any privately held company will ask for a waiver.

Sometimes you are completely exhausting to have to read the bullshit from. The market has spoken, 2door trucks and SUV don't sell in America. But hey you know what the people want. Sometimes, have a thought, and keep it a thought my dude.

Well I didn’t say it had to be 2-door. That’s just the pic I found. I was moreso referring to the 4-link solid front end on the newer Rubicons. That’s the one thing Jeep has over Toyota :notsure:

Our Cruiser Crawl events are often screaming dance parties with all the beer you can drink. Camp on the premises so you don't need to drive.

Also, the FJ Cruiser was basically a 2-door, with retro design cues and awkward ergonomics that you’d think would be a loser on the market. But even now they go for 40 grand with 100,000 miles, so the demand is obviously there.

Jeep is the ONLY manufacturer making a small vehicle with solid axles available here. It's not that they have a "one up," on Toyota, its that nobody else cares to be in that market, for very specific reasons.
This is the same kind of argument manual enthusiasts make, but then they don't actually buy the new vehicles offered with a stick.

The demand wasn't there that's why they stopped selling it in 2014. You could buy a new one up until then and the problem is not enough people were

A party is one thing, but the daily running of a private 4x4 park is a helluva headache. The land owner here lasted about a month haha.

Shit breaks all the time. Death wobble steering. Jeep's purpose is to create new Toyota owners who want something that works.

Based on what Nick? Do you read other people's opinions and formulate your own in that vacuum? IFS has provent more comfortable and compliant on the road and has proved itself superior in off road motorsports. This hard on for solid axles is old news, and your talking to a guy who has a SAS truck.

Well Ford tried to make one, but they just gave us an IFS set up with pissweak tie rods. It has all the electrical gremlins of a Wrangler without the benefit of the solid axles. Like I said, that’s the one thing Jeep/Stellantis is still getting right. If they discontinued the Wrangler and replaced it with something IFS, they’d probably go bankrupt.

I was not impressed with the jeep we test drove the other day, I'd like to drive a rubicon or something fancier
