I keep the pills I REALLY need to take in a contact container and it spends the night on top of my water cup, so it's right there when I get up or I hunt for it when my pill reminder alarm goes off. My other stuff and vitamins, well, they are a hit or miss :anonymous:

Good news on dad. Now to a speedy recovery.

    Well, how did it go??

Oh, my. Happy you weren't hurt, much, anyway  Chains or studded tires??

the big deal/draw for Lummi island is that it’s a 6 minute ferry ride (as opposed to the main San Juan islands with an 1.5 hour+ ride)

and it’s a condo. So maintenance is covered and we can walk away for weeks at a time. Neighbors have been welcoming and amazing! (And many are not even here full time so no noisy neighbors!

small island so everyone kinda knows everyone. All are extra helpful. We didn’t have water for a couple days, islanders I haven’t even met yet offered up their homes for showers and laundry.
We know we have picked the right place!

That sounds perfect. Never thought about a condo. Might have to look into that.

i/we probably wouldnt have considered a condo for every day/working life. But def thought about it as retirement approaches and we want to travel. Having someone else be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance already built in was a big factor.

Good morning. Single digits here with a wind chill about zero. Have to take the grandson to the school in few minutes to get his bus to a wrestling tournament. I don't miss those days. Too old for that stuff now.
