Camper top killed my gas mileage

    Upgraded stock wheels, added a bunch of LEDs, control panel.
    My Tacoma gets on average 14.0 MPG with the camper top on, no lift, no leveling kit, stock tires, got the oil changed recently, and I drive very conservatively..

    Anyone have advice?

    My dad gets 16MPG on his 23 TRD off road at 6K miles without any mods even in winter.. I think its more about driving habits & seasons.

    Maybe oil you used or the filter is bad or might be just the season, summer gets better MPG obviously than winter.

    That’s definitely not right. There must be something else causing the low MPGs. My truck is lifted 1.5” and has E rated tires. I average 22-23mpg on the highway (summer gas). My mileage improved to the MPGs I just mentioned when I added my ARE shell.
